Although the use of Perfumes, and other aromatics like incense, had been widely used in religious practices for many years it was the massive rise in popularity that Egyptian bath houses seen which really seen Perfume Sets, become an item commonly used by everyone. Around 2000BC virtually every Egyptian visited a bath house at least once a day which involved applying scented oils and balms to their bodies. The concept of the bath house spread north from Egypt and was adopted wholeheartedly by both the Romans and the Greeks. Elaborate bath houses became synonymous with both of these cultures and helped to make perfume use a common practise which rapidly spread throughout Europe. When autumn arrives in my part of the country, it’s often accompanied by fog and rain. The vibrantly colored red, purple, orange and yellow leaves on maples, gingkoes, liquidambars, smoke bushes, and all trees and shrubs that have a colorful “faint” into dormancy, are even more glorious with a gloss of moisture. The chilly Northwest damp also accentuates aromas; the ground smells pungent, leaves lose their juicy, “green” summer scents and begin to smell like antique paper or old books, Though we always feel that fragrances are something only or mainly used by ladies, since ages it has been applied by both woman and man. In fact the person who developed the fist perfume in the world was a woman called Tapputi who lived in Mesopotamia, 2000 years ago. She had some resources to develop scents.
